Dear Artists, Participants, Friends, and Fellow Creatives,
It is with a profound sense of gratitude that I announce this coming summer will mark my final public painting seminar. As I reflect on over thirty years of Old Masters – New Visions artistic exploration, I am deeply appreciative of the community that has accompanied me on this journey, sharing in the vibrant spirit of creativity.
When I first embarked on the path of conducting these workshops, my intention was to impart my passion for painting in the Mischtechnik and to share the invaluable insights gleaned from my lifelong friendship with my mentor, Ernst Fuchs. What I could not have anticipated was the immense richness I would receive in return—from the friendships forged to the inspiring transformation of many students into teachers themselves. Together, we have cultivated a nurturing creative community that spans the globe, a sacred space where mistakes are embraced as integral to the artistic process and where raw passion evolves into profound art.
I have always held the belief that art serves as a powerful medium for interpreting and uplifting our world. I have witnessed the resilience, courage, and ingenuity that each of you has contributed to this endeavor. Teaching has transcended mere technique; it has been a journey of mutual growth, where I have learned from your unique perspectives.
While this summer in Greece may be my last opportunity to formally lead a seminar, I sincerely hope that the techniques, conversations, and friendships we have nurtured together continue to thrive. For those who have longed to join us but have not yet had the chance—now is the moment to commit.
Let us spread our art like cosmic butter, enhancing the beauty of our world. If our paths do not cross this summer, I wish you all the best in your creative pursuits.

Mantra and I had the most magnificent experience at the painting seminar last summer in Delphi, Greece. The artist-students that joined us were beautiful, creative and radiant. We taught mischtechnik to the beginners and the highly advanced and everyone produced some great work! In between teaching, Mantra and I painted along with everyone, and in this way, each student could see how we both would build up our images in our paintings. This is the painting I completed during the 3 -Week session in Greece. Next summer in Delphi, Greece is going to be just fantastic as we have a much larger space to paint, and it has air conditioning and good light! We will be only 15 minutes away from the sea and the crystalline clear water. We will be living and painting next door to the ancient ruins of Delphi and the delicious cuisine of Greece available everywhere.
