This week, six of our Year 9 students had the exciting opportunity to get behind the wheel of a manual 2024-plate car at the car park of Old Trafford.
Under expert supervision, students practised key driving skills, including steering around cones, manoeuvring safely, and reaching speeds of up to 40 mph. The experience gave them a fantastic introduction to driving, helping to build their confidence, awareness, and independence.
A brilliant experience for all involved, and one that our students thoroughly enjoyed!

This week, our Attendance Team has been rewarding students who consistently arrive on time and make positive choices throughout the school day.
With the introduction of 'World Cup Wednesday' and 'Football’s Coming Home Friday', students who are on time for Period 1 and demonstrate a positive attitude towards their learning have the chance to be rewarded by Mr Simmons with Panini stickers and trading cards.
Some lucky students have even pulled extremely rare cards worth hundreds of pounds!
Keep arriving on time, showing a great attitude, and being ready to succeed for your chance to win next week. ⚽🏆

Ahead of our Year 11 Leavers’ Assembly yesterday, Mrs Davies wrote this wonderful poem, Memories, to celebrate the hard work, resilience and achievements of our latest year group as they completed their GCSE exams.
Beautifully capturing the experiences, challenges and successes of the past five years, the poem is a fitting tribute to a fantastic cohort. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and wish them every success for the future.

One of our Year 7 students entered the Manchester United Foundation talent show! Our contestant was Magician, Ashton 'The Trickster', the first magician ever seen at the annual event!
Ashton won the award for sportsmanship for his constant enthusiasm and encouragement for other pupils and performances. Izzy, our Manchester United Foundation officer, had so many compliments throughout the day on how Ashton was lovely to all the school giving out high fives!

Yesterday, Mr Fagan and Mr Kellett raised an incredible £260 for the Time for Change Foundation through a wet sponge throw event!
With a selection of their favourite staff members bravely taking their place in the stocks, our students jumped at the chance to get their own back on the teachers.
A huge thank you to Mr Fagan, Mr Kellett, Mr Lacey, Mr Frankham, Mrs Fagan, Mr Cavanagh and Mr Davies for risking life and limb the stocks! Your support helped make the event a fantastic success!
