“Terrible tusks, terrible claws... and terribly good counting fun!” – Monkey Maths Half Term Special 🦉

Deep in the woods this half term, we’re counting logs, spotting claw prints, and going on a maths adventure little ones won’t want to end! Expect playful counting games, subitising challenges, and lots of giggly number fun — all wrapped up in a story-inspired session your toddler will beg to repeat.

✨ Ages 2–5 (Reception aged children and older siblings welcome)
✨ Parent & child session
✨ Small groups, big adventures

Our first Lion Phonics class was ROARSOME!!!! 🦁

I hope you all had as much fun as me. We had an amazing time using the book ‘The Lion on the Bus 🚌’ and had lots of fun activities to develop our listening skills and well as our gross and fine motor skills.

If you’re not booking on yet but want to join, you can still join for the rest of the term through a term booking (working out as £10 per class), can book a 3 week trial or there is a pay as you go option.

Well what a busy week!!

4 new locations, 6 classes 🐵 🎉

Thank to all the families who have joined us. Launching into this fully has been a massive leap of faith so I appreciate every one of you and hope you’ve enjoyed your sessions this week!

I look forward to seeing you next week. We are having a 5 currant buns 🧁 week!!

Every time a duck disappears from sight, your baby is practising object permanence — the understanding that things (and people!) still exist even when they can’t see them.

It’s one of the biggest cognitive milestones of the first year.

Add in the counting down from 5, and they’re also getting an early taste of numbers decreasing — a first step towards subtraction, long before they know what that word means.
