Look at yourself when your heart cracks. Where do you run to? You run straight to the same things that poison you.
You drown it in music until you stop feeling, you chase attention so someone can temporarily validate you, you entertain people who would never lead you to Allah, you scroll, laugh, flirt, distract,anything but sit with the truth.

You already know none of it heals you. You just don’t want to face what Allah is calling you back to. Because healing would mean change. And change would mean letting go of what you’re addicted to. So instead you decorate the damage. You don’t want a cure. You want a distraction that feels like one.
Allah breaks your heart to turn you back to Him. And you respond by running deeper into what broke you in the first place.

How do some people go astray after receiving guidance from Allah?
Guidance from Allah is rarely lost overnight.
They lose it one compromise at a time.

💔Look at the world around you right now. Iran is turning to ruins. Gaza buried under rubble. Palestine bleeding for decades. Wars spreading. Nations shaking. And people are still living as if life is stable.

This world was never designed to comfort you. It was designed to test you.
Every war, every injustice, every child pulled from ruins are not just headlines. They are warnings. Warnings that this dunya is temporary. Warnings that power, safety, and comfort can disappear overnight. Warnings that the only real security is with Allah. The tragedy is not that the world is burning.
The tragedy is watching Muslims witness all of this and still delay their return to Allah.
Prisons are not meant to be decorated. They are meant to remind you that this is not your home.

Turn back to your Lord
before you are returned to Him.

The most dangerous idol isn’t carved from stone.
It’s the thing you refuse to lose.
The test is simple:
If Allah asks you to leave it and your heart hesitates you’ve already bowed to it.

People think loving something more than Allah means worshipping statues. No. It’s when a relationship makes you disobey Him. When money makes you compromise your deen. When reputation matters more than His command.
That’s the real shirk people don’t notice:
A heart that says “I know what Allah wants… but this matters more.”
Your tongue says Allahu Akbar. But your choices reveal what is actually akbar in your life.

One of the most controversial issues about Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) including accusations that he buried his daughter alive or harmed Fatimah (RA).

But when we examine authentic historical sources carefully, these claims do not stand on reliable evidence.

The story that Umar buried his daughter alive comes from weak or disconnected narrations, and many historians point out that his known daughters lived into adulthood. Likewise, the claim that he physically attacked Fatimah (RA) is heavily disputed among scholars and is not established through authentic Sunni narrations.

Early Islamic history is complex, and many reports were recorded generations later sometimes influenced by political tensions. That’s why scholars stress the importance of verifying chains of narration and historical reliability before accepting sensational claims.

For Muslims, the companions of the Prophet ﷺ including Umar (RA), Ali (RA), and Fatimah (RA) are figures of immense respect whose lives should be studied with care, context, and authentic sources, not viral clips or sectarian narratives.

Truth deserves evidence.

And when harm touches man, he calls upon Us, lying on his side or sitting or standing. But when We remove from him his harm, he passes on as if he had never called upon Us for that harm which touched him…”

We only feel close to Allah when we are cornered. When anxiety suffocates us. When health fails. When heartbreak humbles us.

We promise change. We promise consistency. We promise gratitude.

Then relief arrives. And so does forgetfulness.

The insensitivity we have normalised and the empathy Islam built.
The Salaf were so conscious of others that they would lower the sound of their containers afraid that even that might distress a hungry neighbour.
This was the haya.
This was the sensitivity.
This was the standard of empathy Islam nurtured.
But today?
We casually upload our luxury, our tables, our excess as if it is trivial while parts of the Ummah struggle for food, safety, and dignity.

We cry for Gaza, Palestine.
We protest.
We repost.
But empathy is not only loud in the streets.
It is quiet in the home.
It is restraint.
It is consideration.
It is asking: Could this hurt someone who has less?

Because Islam didn’t just teach us to feel pain for the oppressed. It taught us to live in a way that doesn’t increase their pain. Before we speak about global injustice,
we must examine our private insensitivity because real solidarity begins with self-accountability.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbour goes hungry beside him.”

Not less reward or minor sin. Simply not a BELIEVER.
