Just spent a wonderful day at Eastcott Studios. Yes, a whole day working on slab building projects with other like minded potters. If you ever feel like doing an experience day, or are experienced and would like to have the opportunity to work in a fully equipped studio I would highly recommend this. One of the best ways to spend a Saturday❤️ photos to follow❤️

Visitors to Eastcott Studios on the first day of Swindon Open Studios were delighted to share a cuddle from this gorgeous huge vase, made with a hug! The Huggle vase was inspired by Johhny Vegas pots where you make a large plain pot and then give it a huge hug while the clay is still soft... the result is a beautiful pot that is totally irresistible and you just have to share that hug!! This one was still warm, fresh from the kiln and the smiles it gave were priceless! Definately enjoyed my 1st experience of displaying my work at Eastcott Studios as part of Swindon open Studios this weekend. There were so many lovely comments about my work, which I’ve always been very worried to show/sell. Thank you all for the ‘bigging up’ and for those that purchased, I am very humbled. Thank you.
