Our Year 9 students have shown exceptional determination and courage on the trampolines in PE.

As part of our Successful Lives Day, approximately 300 students from Years 10 and 12 had the opportunity to meet employers, universities and training providers from a wide range of sectors, gaining valuable insight into future careers and pathways.

The event was a huge success, with students leaving inspired, informed and excited about their futures.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our exhibitors for giving their time, sharing their experiences and helping our students take the next step on their career journeys.

GWA Sports Day 2026

From exciting races to incredible teamwork and outstanding sportsmanship, our pupils gave their all and made us proud. A huge thank you to our dedicated staff and volunteers for helping make the day such a success.

Our entire Year 9 cohort took part in an exciting World of Work event, experiencing a range of real-world career opportunities.

Students visited Zurich Insurance and Great Western Hospital, while others took part in workshops on construction, engineering, employability skills and career pathways here at GWA. The day was designed to help students explore future careers, develop key workplace skills and gain valuable insight into the world of work. A huge thank you to all our employer partners and career professionals for helping to inspire the next generation.
