Please drop off your unwanted pumpkins in the wheelbarrows outside the Unity Garden school gates on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th of November.
👻 Join us at helping hands Friday for some pumpkin smashin’ fun - after school Friday 7th of November.

Did you know our Unity Garden provides a vital outdoor resource for our Children’s learning. We learn about plant life cycles, ecosystems, measuring, calculating, literacy, art skills and environmental science. Children also develop important life skills like responsibility, patience, teamwork, and problem-solving, while promoting physical activity, healthy eating habits, and emotional wellbeing.

Let’s continue to foster this wonderful learning environment for our children. 🍃 🌱 💚

We hope you’ve had a lovely start back to the school year.
A few of us are hoping to head to the Unity Garden on Fridays after school. We’d love to see as many families there as possible ☺️
Please feel free to bring along siblings/snacks and friends!

There’s been lots of wonderful growth in our Unity garden this week!
🌹 Our rose bush is smelling amazing, wild flowers are cropping up in raised beds along with beautiful flowers planted by classes and eco club’s poly tunnel bed is flourishing!
🐦 Our lovely baby birds have fledged and Year 1 have been out making bug houses.
What a busy garden we have!

🌳You might be wondering why the garden is looking a little scruffy? We’re taking part in no mow May. This helps boost wildlife, including pollinators like bees and butterflies, by allowing wildflowers to grow and bloom. It also creates a more diverse and resilient ecosystem in gardens.

👨‍🌾 Don’t forget, if you’ve like to be a part of this wonderful space we run helping hand Fridays directly after school - we’d love to see you there.

The wonderful school eco club have been busy in the polytunnel growing tomatoes, beans, herbs and broccoli! 🥦
We’ve also had some birds nest in one of the bird boxes, how exciting! 🐦
