A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Unity Garden Open Day! It was wonderful to welcome so many new faces and to see everyone getting stuck in and helping with some fantastic work around the garden.
The Unity Garden is such a valuable outdoor learning space, giving our children the opportunity to explore nature, develop practical skills, and bring their learning to life in a hands-on environment.
Thank you all for your support—we can't wait to see you again at our next session! 🌳 🌺

We had a wonderfully productive morning in the Unity Garden this morning…

🌷 4 new ‘adjective posts’ were placed
🌷 2 x raised beds in the polly tunnel were weeded and re filled
🌷 The poly tunnel was weeded and swept
🌷 The tyre planters at the front of the school were weeded, swept and planted

🎃 Pumpkin drop off! 🎃
Please drop off your unwanted pumpkins in the wheelbarrows outside the Unity Garden school gates on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th of November.
👻 Join us at helping hands Friday for some pumpkin smashin’ fun - after school Friday 7th of November.

We’ll be in the Unity Garden every Friday after school. Come and join us, and why not bring some friends! The more the merrier 🤝

Did you know our Unity Garden provides a vital outdoor resource for our Children’s learning. We learn about plant life cycles, ecosystems, measuring, calculating, literacy, art skills and environmental science. Children also develop important life skills like responsibility, patience, teamwork, and problem-solving, while promoting physical activity, healthy eating habits, and emotional wellbeing.

Let’s continue to foster this wonderful learning environment for our children. 🍃 🌱 💚
