Tuesday 28th November marks the start of our Big Give Christmas challenge. We would love for you, our amazing supporters, to share this post far and wide to help us to raise as much funds as possible for our new project 'BUSS for Early Years'. A super important project that will be supporting young children with underdeveloped sensorimotor systems in the local Swansea area.

What do I offer? .....
I am a Certified Theraplay® Practitioner and am becoming certified in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). I provide therapy for children and families in a purpose-built family therapy room in my home. I use an integrative approach to therapy, taking the most appropriate and helpful aspects of several therapeutic models to combine them make her therapeutic approach relevant to each individual child, client or family. I have a particular interest in working with children who have experienced neglect and trauma, and/or whom are on the Autism Spectrum. My therapeutic approach includes parents, foster carers and adopters as integral partners in interventions and I positively support them in implementing a range of approaches both in therapy sessions and at home. I am experienced in supporting children and families with complex needs, including ASD, challenging behaviour and communication difficulties. For children who would benefit I use PECS and picture scheduling within sessions.
I am also a trainer and consultant in attachment, challenging behaviour, learning disability, education. Training and support (including home visits) is available to parents, adopters and foster carers as well as professionals/staff.
