Now Rodri who had never flyfished but told me he always wanted to and sent his wife a link to buy him a days course well they day booked and blowwing 25mph winds not the easiest of days for a beginners casting lesson be he did great , so class in the morning cover kit you need, knots and bit entermology and life cycles of flies and entermology and fishing flies that represented them the onto the river wye and not 5 minutes in his first trout then 1st grayling and couple more catch and release trout at distance, he on his anglers journey with confidence that he knows how to start

For you guys that have got it bad and need your fishey fix on the first day of the season , for a bit of mindfulness it been a long wet winter. Had an hour on a stream tributary of main river USK wich is high and just about fishable in places there a lot of water on few LDO comming off mid day
