The Child and Family Team have had an incredible summer! 💙 Over the past five weeks, we’ve worked hard to create a timetable packed with 𝐟𝐮𝐧, 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬.

From 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐬, 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐰𝐭𝐜𝐡, 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐬, there has been something for everyone. 🐾🎨⚽🪩🚌

We are ensured that 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐬𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐲. 🍎🥪💙

We’ve seen children try new things, make new friends, build confidence, get creative, get active and, most importantly, 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported our sessions and helped make each week so special. 💙

And a big shout-out to our staff team, who have worked so hard behind the scenes with all the planning, preparation and organising that goes into making a timetable like this happen. Your hard work and dedication have made these five weeks possible! 👏💙

We’re pleased to be continuing our 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐠 support for families in our communities with 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧. 🌞🥕

Each bag includes 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲-𝐭𝐨-𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐬, helping to make family mealtimes a little easier during the summer holidays.

We know the school holidays can be challenging, so we’re delighted to offer a little extra support to families who may be 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. 💚

✨ 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝, and this service is specifically intended for families who are most in need of support.

𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞: If you have already received a meal bag, or have previously been allocated a meal bag but did not attend to collect it, any further requests will be placed on the 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭. This allows us to prioritise families who have not yet received a meal bag and make sure the available bags reach those most in need of support.

If you feel your family would benefit, please 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝐃𝐌). We’ll do our very best to support as many families as we can.
