Hextable Village Pre-School has been running for 25 years and has its own premises, The Gallery Building, on the edge of the Heritage Gardens. It is a committee run charity based (not for profit) pre-school with opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in your child's progress. We have a dedicated ‘Rising 5’s’ room, allowing the older childre
n to engage in activities without interruption from the younger children. As well as a snack Bar & kitchen which provides a great place for the children to eat the healthy snacks on offer, as well as take part in regular cooking activities. Due to our fantastic location, we have our own secure fenced off outside area, incorporating mud kitchen, bug hotel, large grass area and bike track. We also enjoy regular Forest School activities, where the children are taken to different areas of the Heritage Gardens to really engage with nature. Hextable Village Pre-school is committed to providing a loving and stimulating environment in which children can learn and develop. Our aim is to provide a ‘home from home’ atmosphere and to cater for the changing needs of every child. Every child is allocated a ‘Key-Person’ who monitors their progress and acts as a main point of contact for their family. We welcome children from the age of 2, funding is available from the age of 3 as per government guidelines as well as for those children eligible for the Free-for-Two scheme (please contact your Children's Centre). The Pre-school is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, with an ‘after school club’ from 3-4pm available too. Morning sessions are 9am – 12 and afternoon sessions are 12 - 3pm. We also run ‘Holiday Club’ days during the half-terms and school holidays. Any parents looking for a pre-school place for a child are welcome to come and have a look around during one of our sessions.
