🏃‍♀️💨 And they’re off!

Today, our fantastic team of occupational therapists and physiotherapists are taking on the Inflatable 10K Challenge to raise money for the Children’s Therapy Team at QEH! 🎈💙

They’ve got 10K of running, bouncing and obstacles ahead of them, so let’s give them a big cheer as they take on this brilliant challenge! 🙌

There’s still time to show your support and donate:

It’s National Braille Week! ⠃⠗⠇

Braille is a tactile reading and writing system that supports literacy, independence and access to information for many blind and partially sighted people. It remains an essential part of making education, services and everyday life more accessible.

This week, let’s:
💙 Learn more about Braille and why it matters
💙 Promote accessible information in a range of formats
💙 Respect each person’s preferred way of reading and communicating
💙 Support inclusion, independence and equal access

Accessibility benefits everyone. Help us raise awareness of the importance of Braille by sharing this post!

🎈🤠 Meet the Children’s Therapy Team! 🤠🎈

Our fantastic Children’s Therapy Team are taking on the Inflatable 10K on 17 October dressed as your favourite Toy Story characters, all to raise funds for specialist therapy equipment, resources and toys for the children and young people they support. The team helps children and young people with a range of developmental, physical and neurological needs, and every donation will help make therapy sessions even more engaging, effective and fun.

Want to find out more? Come and say hello at their fundraising stall in The Hub (canteen) on:

📅 Tuesday 13 October
📅 Friday 16 October

The team will be on hand to share more about the incredible work they do, how fundraising supports local children and families, and how you can help make a difference.

If you're passing through The Hub, we'd love to see you there. 💙
