I am a loving and dedicated childminder providing a fun, stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and grow through play.

Children have access to their own dedicated private playroom, filled with age-appropriate toys, resources and activities in a warm and welcoming environment.

One of the lovely benefits of my setting is that I have a park right next door to my house, making it easy for us to enjoy regular outdoor play, fresh air and physical activities.

BUBBAZ, Childminding | Daily Learning Summary

Today we had an exciting visit to the soft play! The children explored and developed key skills while having so much fun:

🌈 Physical Development
We practised climbing in and out of the ball pit, which strengthened our gross motor skills (like balance and coordination) and supported our fine motor skills through gripping and movement control.

🚗 Imaginative & Constructive Play
The car garages were a big hit! The children explored cause and effect, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills through hands-on play.

🤝 Personal, Social & Emotional Development
We focused on sharing, taking turns, and learning how to behave kindly and safely around other children – all vital aspects of building friendships and emotional intelligence.

🧠 All of today’s play experiences are in line with the EYFS framework, supporting well-rounded early development in a fun, engaging way.

We activated all of our senses in the most delightful way!
We visited the beautiful lavender fields, where we explored the sights, scents, and textures of blooming lavender. We got creative with lavender-themed crafts, letting our imaginations bloom just like the flowers around us. As we wandered the fields, we observed the buzzing life of bees, fluttering butterflies, and other curious insects that call the lavender home.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a cozy teddy bear picnic in the shade with our friends — a perfect moment of rest, laughter, and connection surrounded by nature.

🐸 Exploring the Life Cycle of a Frog! 🌊

Today, we explored the fascinating life cycle of a frog through interactive play and hands-on learning. Our water play tray table was transformed into a mini aquatic world, featuring frogs at different stages of their life — from eggs to tadpoles, then froglets, and finally adult frogs!

To enhance the experience, we added aquatic sea life to our play, encouraging the children to explore and imagine underwater environments where many creatures live and grow. A water fountain added an extra element of fun and kept everyone cool as they played, splashed, and discovered.

Through this multi-sensory experience, the children not only stayed refreshed in the warm weather but also learned about amphibians and aquatic habitats, developing their understanding of nature and life cycles

Teddy Bear’s Picnic Adventure 🧸🌞

Today we had a beary special day out on our Teddy Bear’s Picnic! The children brought along their favourite furry friends and we set off for a fun-filled morning in the sunshine. We played in the sandpit, built wonderful sandcastles, and even let our teddies have a go—turns out they’re quite the builders!

We joined Leah's Little'uns Childminding for a lovely shared picnic, complete with teddy bear-themed snacks that the children absolutely loved. After lunch, the adventures continued as we explored the park, climbed trees, and raced around the fields with big smiles and happy giggles.

A perfect day of outdoor fun, imagination, and friendship—for both children and their teddy bears!
