BUBBAZ, Childminding | Daily Learning Summary

Today we had an exciting visit to the soft play! The children explored and developed key skills while having so much fun:

🌈 Physical Development
We practised climbing in and out of the ball pit, which strengthened our gross motor skills (like balance and coordination) and supported our fine motor skills through gripping and movement control.

🚗 Imaginative & Constructive Play
The car garages were a big hit! The children explored cause and effect, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills through hands-on play.

🤝 Personal, Social & Emotional Development
We focused on sharing, taking turns, and learning how to behave kindly and safely around other children – all vital aspects of building friendships and emotional intelligence.

🧠 All of today’s play experiences are in line with the EYFS framework, supporting well-rounded early development in a fun, engaging way.

We activated all of our senses in the most delightful way!
We visited the beautiful lavender fields, where we explored the sights, scents, and textures of blooming lavender. We got creative with lavender-themed crafts, letting our imaginations bloom just like the flowers around us. As we wandered the fields, we observed the buzzing life of bees, fluttering butterflies, and other curious insects that call the lavender home.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a cozy teddy bear picnic in the shade with our friends — a perfect moment of rest, laughter, and connection surrounded by nature.
