🌈 Rainbow Baby Day 🌈
The symbol of the rainbow has been used by members of the baby loss community for many years to refer to a baby born after a previous loss - often symbolising hope & light after a dark time.
It is a day to celebrate rainbow babies and to remember the much loved & much missed babies who came before them.
Both of my boys are rainbow babies 🌈
I feel very blessed every day to have them 💙
Toddler Sense partners with Tommy's regularly to raise money to help fund vital research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth so they can keep help saving babies’ lives ❤️ They are a great resource for support during a difficult time.
Thinking of everyone today remembering their rainbow babies ❣️

❓Why should you attend a Toddler Sense class ❓
1. Social Skills Development
Toddlers thrive in settings where they can learn essential skills like negotiation and turn-taking. These early lessons lay the foundation for cooperative play and the art of building relationships. While toddlers may not fully cooperate, share, or make friends until later years, exposure to group play at an early age provides a distinct advantage as they enter school.
2. Structure and Routine
Toddlers flourish in environments that provide structure and routine. Our classes incorporate exercise and group play into a well-defined structure, offering toddlers the organization, stability, and personal self-control they crave at this stage of development.
3. Unleashing Energy through Adventure Play
It’s no secret that toddlers love to be on the move! The first part of a session focuses on free-flow adventure play, allowing toddlers to explore, problem-solve, and engage in imaginative thinking. Crawling through tunnels, bouncing, climbing, and clambering over equipment are not just fun activities—they contribute to physical development and enhance motor skills.
4. Structured Group Activities
Following the free-flow play, structured group activities take centre stage. These activities are designed to promote healthy brain development and include hide-and-seek, music and movement, action songs, drawing, and more. The variety ensures that toddlers stay engaged and continue to develop essential skills
5. Grown ups Involvement for Emotional Support
Throughout the session, parents, grandparents, other grown ups, actively participate, offering support, praise, and encouragement. This not only raises a toddler’s self-esteem but also provides emotional security.

🌳 Kew Gardens 🌳
Today we headed out with friends on a road trip to Kew Gardens
We had such a great day. Lots of space to run around, a great playground with lots of different things to play on and beautiful flowers 🌺
They have a fab summer event on; “Tom Gates EPIC Adventure” This included a giant doodle wall, craft activities and code cracking. We all really enjoyed watching the “Dog Zombies” musical show whilst eating our picnic 🧺
My ticket was £22 and the boys tickets were just £1.75 each, with children under 4 going free 🎉 I would highly recommend this for a day out ✅

Happy International Day of Friendship!
Did you know that toddlers don’t actually make real friends until around their third year?
But toddlers who get plenty of opportunities to play alongside other children from an early age have a huge advantage when they start preschool.
That’s exactly why what we do at Toddler Sense® matters, every class and interaction is quietly building the social foundations your little one needs.
