Job description
An exciting opportunity for a Head Teacher/Manager of a private nursery school in the Kensington & Chelsea area has become available to lead the Early Years (age 2 - 5) into the next phase of its exciting development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful senior leadership and creating an environment for academic success for all. The candidate will also have experience of leading teaching teams, creative curriculum development and a clear commitment to inclusive education.
The Head Teacher of this Nursery School will be responsible for developing the curriculum, environment and vision of the school. The curriculum will have an element of Montessori Teaching, so it is essential that the right person has a knowledge of, or a recognised Montessori qualification.
The Head Teacher will lead the team and will help to recruit new high-quality teachers to join them in providing the best quality education and care for the children in our nursery.
The Head Teacher must have experience of running a nursery school setting and will need to be able to support in building occupancy and maintaining high quality service to our families within Kensington and surrounding areas.
This is a term time only post but the Head Teacher will be offered incentives to build occupancy and maintain quality.
