The Key Stage 2 curriculum is publicly available to everyone. There are no “secret” 11+ maths topics hidden away from parents.

What makes selective exams challenging is not the syllabus itself, but the depth of understanding required and the ability to apply knowledge accurately in unfamiliar contexts under pressure.

As a former Head of Maths at Sutton Grammar School and previous 11+ examiner, my focus is on helping students develop genuine mathematical thinking, confidence and problem solving skills over time.

Strong progress in 11+ maths does not come from a free downloadable guide or a quick fix. It comes from expert teaching, careful guidance, consistent practice and detailed feedback over time.

I will be running new Year 4 and Year 5 online groups from September, alongside May and summer mock exam programmes with detailed marking, expert feedback and review sessions for families looking for high quality specialist preparation.

I’m now opening priority registration for my new Year 4 and Year 5 11+ maths groups starting in September 2026.

Spaces are limited each year and many parents find it difficult to secure a specialist place closer to the exam cycle, so this is the best time to register your interest.
