Fairlands Pre-School

We would like to inform all the parents that from next week Monday 30th January, Alina will be taking over as manager.
I will still be here as a pre school assistant but after a year in management I would like to go back to spending more time with the children 🥰 moving forward please see Alina for any queries or questions but I will still be in the room daily. Thankyou # # #

Please look at what we've been doing over the last 2 weeks! We've been concentrating on numbers and letters and also people who help us.
Some of our activities have included dentist role play, making ambulances, fire engines and firemen dressing up, stories about emergency services, pasta pictures and plenty of messy play 😊

Last week we learnt all about space, we made
- our very own space den
- explored our space toys and equipment
- painted planet earth
- made some wonderful pictures of the galaxy using glitter
- made planet biscuits

This week we see the return of Ralphie 🐶🤭 and what fun the children had with him. Yet again he was on his very best behaviour and had sooo many cuddles 🥰
This week is world nursery rhyme week so we've enjoyed making music, singing, making our own baba Black sheep, boiled egg humpy dumpteys and incy wincy spider messy play activities plus lots more......

This poster will be displayed on our front door. Its guidance for parents to follow regarding when to, and when not to bring your children into preschool. I hope you find this helpful and join us in protecting other children and staff. Thankyou 😊

As requested by lots of children and parents..Ralphie will be coming back into preschool tomorrow. He was so popular last time and such a good boy that the children ask on an almost daily basis 🤭

Please can we make sure children have water only in their water bottles, below are some reasons why water is so beneficial.
Once children move onto school, they too will only allow water in their water bottles...so let's get the children into practice now 😀
Milk is also available daily at snack times

We've had lots of fun this week learning about different countries, flags and remembrance day. Our activities have included looking at and making our home country flag.

Next week it's world nursery rhyme week, so we'll be doing lots of singing and music making aswell as nursery rhyme themed activities 😀

This week we are learning about different countries, we would love the children to taste some different food from around the world.
Please feel free to bring in a food item from your home country for the children to try
