Our Year 4 students turned the hall into a bustling bakery this morning as they tackled their latest DT challenge: baking delicious, homemade scones, with their own unique twist, choosing between sweet fruit additions or savory cheese blends!
During the practical session, the students showcased excellent DT technical skills. They mastered accuracy by weighing and measuring ingredients, practiced the delicate "rubbing-in" method to combine butter and flour, and developed their physical dexterity by kneading, rolling, and using cutters to shape their dough evenly.

This week the EYFS Den are learning about babies and how much we have changed since we were a baby! Today, the Reception children had a visit from Miss Bullions and her baby. We asked questions like 'Does he have any teeth?' 'How old is he?' 'Can he walk?' 'Can he eat carrots?'.
