📅 One day of school might not feel like much. But attendance adds up.

Being in school regularly means being there for the lessons, conversations, support and experiences that help students succeed.

The evidence is clear: there is a direct link between attendance and educational outcomes. Students who attend regularly are more likely to stay on track with their learning and achieve their potential.

Another year of GCSE improvement — and another year of celebrating our students!

We are incredibly proud to see continued improvement in our GCSE outcomes. Behind every result is a story of hard work, determination, resilience and ambition and today, we celebrate our students and everything they have achieved.

Partial solar eclipse - Wednesday 12th August

A solar eclipse is a rare and exciting opportunity to see something truly amazing happening in our skies. It’s the kind of event you’ll remember — so make sure you get to experience it safely.

👀 Never look directly at the Sun without proper solar viewing protection.

Regular sunglasses are not safe, and you should never look at the Sun through a phone camera, binoculars or a telescope unless the equipment has a proper solar filter designed for solar viewing.

😎 If you have properly certified solar viewing glasses, use them as instructed and check that they’re undamaged. If you don’t have suitable protection, use a safe indirect viewing method or watch the eclipse through a trusted livestream.
