Ellie has been with us for 16 months and has proven herself to be an outstanding practitioner. She joined us already equipped with a passion for supporting young children, inspired by growing up in a large family — and she has continued to flourish ever since. Achieving a Distinction in her recent exams is a testament to her dedication, hard work and natural talent.

Ellie is well on her way to a successful career in early years, and we’re so excited to see her continue to progress and advance within the company in the coming years.

With gentle mood lighting, enriching sensory experiences, and a lovely view of the outdoors, our babies can explore, learn, and feel completely at ease 🌿✨

Parental mental health day 2026

Did you know, as early years practitioners we are trained to support the whole family? This means when you need support as a parent or a sibling, we can offer support, a listening ear and signpost you to the relevant support agencies if necessary?

Being a parent is one of the most treasured roles you could have, you’re doing better than you think ✨

Starting nursery for the first time is a huge milestone — and it looks different for every child 💛

At The Sanctuary Day Nursery, we begin with gentle settling-in sessions. The first is a short visit where parents stay, helping children explore their new environment with the security of a familiar face. The second visit includes a short separation, giving children the chance to begin building trust with our team while knowing you’ll be back soon.

From there, we follow each child’s lead. We work closely with families to tailor the settling-in process around their child’s personality, routines, and emotional needs — because there’s no one “right” way to settle 🤍

Big feelings are welcome. Different paces are respected. Every child’s journey matters.
