🌿 Did you know our Tree Tots sessions are shaped around your child’s interests? 🌿
At Tree Tots, we don’t just provide activities. We observe, listen and follow the children’s ideas, using them as a starting point for meaningful learning.
Here are a few examples:
🦕 One child had never really engaged with painting, something their parents had noticed at home, but they loved dinosaurs! So we brought dinosaurs into our creative play. We made dinosaur footprints, painted with dinosaurs and explored how the paint could be transferred onto paper, creating beautiful artwork while building confidence and curiosity.
🥣 Another child asked, “How do you make play dough?” The following week, the children became the creators! They measured, mixed and made their own play dough through hands on learning, and they even got to take their creations home.
🧪 Two children created their own potion play, using their imagination and silly spell words. The following week, we extended their ideas by adding new natural materials for them to experiment, explore and create with, developing vocabulary, creativity and problem solving skills.
At Tree Tots, children are given repeated opportunities to explore, revisit and build on their ideas. This helps them consolidate learning, develop confidence and build the foundations for lifelong skills. 🌱
Most importantly, children learn in an environment where their ideas matter and there is no “wrong” way to explore.

Fun-filled morning at Tree Tots today 🌿✨
Seeing the children so happy, engaged, and confidently testing out their own theories through the freedom of outdoor play under the canopy of the trees was just amazing. 🌳
I stood back and smiled watching friendships grow, connections deepen, and the pure joy across the whole class. They were all properly joining in together and it honestly filled my heart. 💚
I truly LOVE these sessions — they’re my favourite day of the week and my heart is so full after mornings like this.
We won’t be open next Friday as my son has a teacher training day, but we’ll be back during half term on the Friday! Booking link will be open soon ✨ x
