In these last few months of madness this one has held me tenderly as I've quietly imploded, slapped me on the back when I've needed a push and just been there body and soul with a giggle, a phone call, daily check ins, a reminder to Love myself.....even when I didn't realise I needed it. I can't count the times she's caught me in free fall, I can't put into words how much I admire her strength....I bloody love this woman! We were on a work thing a week back and found the most amazing park, house and gardens on our evening off....it's been an age since we adventured like this and I was reminded of our past 8 summers together, all the hours we've laughed, loved, cried and sometimes drifted away from each.... other always returning and how massive a part of my life she has been, she is and always will be ♥️ you are so precious to me/to us

There is literally nothing better to do on a rainy day than go to Matlock Bath....it's like being at the seaside...we ate fish n chips, played in the arcade, visited the aquarium, bought sweets....felt like little kids ❤️

Just over a month since my first Copperplate lesson from and after hours of practice, I decided to brave having a go at drawing my own grid on fancy black paper for my homework 💙 really pleased with my progress and loving the lesson of patience!

I have been really struggling to get out of my Winter hibernation mindset and body....every weekend I've slept in, stayed in my PJ's switched my phone off and hunkered down with a book....

This weekend I finally unfurled... impromptu trip to somewhere new to feed my curiosity and blow the cobwebs away. Take things at your own pace lovelies, there's no rush 💛💙💛

Felt in a funk today so decided to appeal to my inner child and feed the ducks 🦆 (Oats, Sunflower hearts and shredded lettuce) at Wyndley Pool after work rather than sit at home stewing....so glad I did because we saw this beautiful Mandarin Drake who even sat there singing to us at one point (who knew!?). It was a beautiful evening even in the drizzle - everything is looking so green 🌳

The name Anchor Church is derived from the term anchorite (from the Greek ἀναχωρέω anachōreō, "to withdraw" or "to depart into the countryside") because it is thought to have been the cell of an Anchorite hermit, St Hardulph, who lived and prayed here in the 6th and 7th century
