💧 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
Children can become dehydrated much faster than adults. Offer water regularly, even before they say they’re thirsty.

Water-rich foods such as watermelon, cucumber, strawberries and oranges are nature’s air conditioning!

🧢 Hats on, sun cream on
The nursery version of “No hat, no play!” can save a lot of red noses and rosy cheeks.

🌿 Big Moves, Big Growth! 🌿

Gross motor skills are all about the big movements—running 🏃‍♂️, jumping, climbing 🧗‍♀️, balancing—and they’re a huge part of children’s development in the early years.

From wobbling on a balance beam to racing across the garden 🌼, every movement helps build strength 💪, coordination, and confidence. But it’s not just physical—these skills also support focus, independence, and even early writing readiness ✏️.

Our Forest School sessions take this even further. Among the trees 🌳, on uneven ground, climbing over logs, splashing in muddy puddles 💦 or balancing on natural materials, children are constantly challenging their bodies in new and exciting ways. There’s no better classroom than the outdoors for developing resilience, risk awareness, and a real sense of adventure 🍃✨
