Today we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, when Mary was welcomed into heaven, body and soul, by God’s grace. This feast reminds us of the hope we share in the Resurrection and shows us Mary as a sign of the glory promised to all who remain faithful to Christ. May her trust in God and her loving obedience inspire us to place Him at the heart of our lives.
