🥚✨ Fresh eggs for sale ✨🥚

We’ve got a very special little entrepreneur at Poplar Farm… meet Edie! 🐓💛

Edie has been busy collecting eggs from her own chickens and is now selling them for just £2 per box of 6. They are super fresh, seriously tasty, and every box she sells is helping her save up for extra riding lessons 🐎✨

We’ll have some boxes available at the yard, so if you’re coming this Sunday and would like some, pop us a message to reserve yours before they go!

Let’s support her egg-citing little venture 💛🥚

We’re currently missing a riding hat from the yard. It’s a size 56, and we believe it may have been taken home by mistake after a lesson.

If you have it, please can you return it to the yard as soon as possible or send us a message. We rely on all our equipment being available for lessons, so we’d really appreciate your help in getting it back quickly.

Thank you 😊

Happy Ponies

🚨IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE🚨

There has been a recent outbreak of Strangles in the local area.

Strangles is a highly contagious bacterial infection that affects horses and can spread easily via contact, clothing, and equipment.

To protect the health of our horses and ponies, we are putting the following measures in place with immediate effect.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

If you ride with us, we kindly ask that you do not visit or handle horses at other yards during this time.

We understand this isn’t always possible, so if you do have contact with horses elsewhere, the following steps are essential before coming to the yard:

⚠️REQUIRED BIOSECURITY MEASURES⚠️

🟢 Hats & whips:

Our preference is that you use hats and whips provided by Poplar Farm.

If you choose to bring your own, they must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before use (see below).

🟢 Clothing (jodhpurs, tops, gloves, coats):

Wash at 60°C or above. A laundry disinfectant is strongly recommended.

🟢 Boots, hats, body protectors, whips, etc.:

1. Remove all dirt, hair, and debris first
2. Disinfect using an appropriate product (e.g. Virkon or diluted bleach solution)
3. Allow to dry fully before use

🟢 On arrival to the yard:

You must use the foot baths and hand sanitiser provided

PLEASE NOTE

These measures are mandatory and in place to protect the wellbeing of our horses.

Anyone not following these requirements may be asked to leave the premises.

We appreciate your cooperation and support in helping us keep our horses safe and healthy. 🤎
