What a beautiful and very special Shared Prayer Assembly this morning on the theme of the Holy Rosary from Year 3.
Our little children talked about Mary, Jesus' Mother, her special prayers, the Rosary itself and how they like say the Rosary too. The children also sang a beautiful and quite traditional hymn to Mary which they truly enjoyed!
It gave us all valuable time this morning to stop, take stock and realise important prayerful moments in our lives!
It was refreshing to hear from our young Year 3 Pupils.
Heartfelt thanks to the Year 3 Teaching Team and Support Staff for preparing our little children so well.
Thanks also to all the parents and family members who came along in such numbers to support and share in prayer. God bless you all!
A truly lovely event!

*** Maths Week Ireland ***

What a start to Maths Week Ireland!

Our Year 6 Pupils had a great time at the Maths Week Ireland Event organised by Franz at Strabane Academy ! It was a show called 'It Doesn't Add Up' by Dr Ken Farquhar. It Doesn't Add Up is an entertaining maths and magic show that uses puzzles, illusions, card tricks, mind-reading style activities and mathematical challenges to demonstrate how maths can be surprising, useful and fun. Rather than relying on traditional magic, Dr Ken reveals the mathematical thinking behind many of the tricks, helping audiences see how numbers and patterns work in real life. Our pupils had so much fun!!!
