🧡 Keeping Our Community Safe – Benedict’s Law & Anaphylaxis Kits 🧡

From September, schools will be required to have anaphylaxis kits in place as part of Benedict’s Law 📜— an important step in protecting children with life‑threatening allergies or those displaying life-threatening symptoms.

We are very proud to share that our school already has anaphylaxis kits in place, should they ever be needed. While we hope they are never used, having this life‑saving medication readily available means we can act quickly and confidently in an emergency 🚑💚

👶👧🧒 Children’s safety, wellbeing and inclusion are always at the heart of what we do, and this is just one of the many ways we make sure our school is a safe, caring and prepared place for everyone.

✨ Better safe than sorry — and always putting children first. ✨

🏫 If you would like to find out more about our wonderful, small, friendly and inclusive mainstream school, including:
🌱 nursery places from age 3
⏰ full‑time and flexi‑schooling options,
please don’t hesitate to get in touch 📞📧 — we would love to hear from you and welcome you into our community 💛

📣 We Need Your Support – Help Our School Secure a Tesco Mobile Online Safety Grant!

Our school has applied for the Tesco Mobile Online Safety Grant, which provides funding to help primary schools improve online safety teaching and access essential digital equipment. Tesco Mobile is offering 100 grants of £1,000 and 5 larger grants of £20,000 to support schools across the UK in boosting online safety for children.
If successful, this grant will help us purchase replacement iPads and Chromebooks so our pupils can take part in high‑quality online safety lessons using up‑to‑date technology. These devices are eligible for funding under the grant and directly support safer, more effective digital learning.
Improving online safety has never been more important. Recent research supported by Tesco Mobile shows many children struggle to spot misinformation online, and teachers need the right tools to guide them confidently and safely through the digital world.

💙 How you can help:
Please take a moment to visit the Tesco Mobile Online Safety page and support our school’s application by sharing the link and helping raise awareness:

School Closed Today – Weather Conditions

Due to the current weather conditions, the school will be closed today.

We know this decision may be disappointing and may cause difficulties for families, and we do not take it lightly. However, the safety of our pupils, their families, and our staff must always come first. While some roads may be passable with care, others remain unsafe and conditions can change quickly.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support. Please take care and stay safe.
