The GCSE results issued today are a testament to the hard work and determination of this cohort. They have secured a range of excellent outcomes, and each one is the product of their time with us at Alleyneโ€™s.

Today is not only a celebration of what our students have achieved, but also the start of an exciting next chapter. We are delighted that many of our year 11s have chosen to continue their journey at Alleyneโ€™s, building on their friendships, confidence and success in our successful Sixth Form.

Our sixth form offers much more than qualifications. It is a supportive and welcoming community where students are encouraged to pursue their ambitions, discover new opportunities and prepare for life beyond school. With expert teaching, dedicated pastoral care and a wide range of enrichment and leadership opportunities, students are empowered to grow both academically and personally.

Applications remain open to our year 11 students, as well as students from other schools who would like to be part of the next generation of Alleyneโ€™s Sixth Formers.

Our wonderful students are celebrating an impressive set of A Level and applied BTEC results today, reflecting their hard work, determination and resilience throughout their studies.

This year's cohort achieved excellent outcomes across a wide range of subjects, and the results have enabled many students to secure places at their first-choice next steps.

Many students will now progress to leading universities across the UK, studying subjects including medicine, Maths, engineering, business, education and the sciences. Others will be pursuing higher apprenticeships and entering the workplace, demonstrating the diverse pathways available to today's young people.

We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have achieved. These results are a testament to their dedication, ambition and hard work.

We congratulate every student on their success and look forward to seeing them flourish as they take the next steps in their education, training and careers.

This morning it was a pleasure to give out a special award to our fantastic students who have received zero behaviour points this year.

60 students in Year 9 and 53 in Year 10 (almost a quarter of each year group) achieved this amazing feat. This means they have made good choices every single day.

It was so lovely to celebrate this success with them and to see what amazing students we have at Alleyne's.

On Tuesday, Alleyne's Sixth Form had their final rewards assembly of the year where we celebrated the โ€˜Student of the Yearโ€™ awards.

Teachers nominated exceptional students in each subject area in recognition of their hard work, dedication and enthusiasm. Congratulations to all of our winners! We also congratulate 6MD for winning โ€˜Form of the Half Termโ€™ two times in a row and 6CN for winning the overall โ€˜Form of the Yearโ€™ trophy!

On Wednesday, Year 12 took to the field in our annual Sixth Form Sports Day. Students took part in classic events such as the Egg & Spoon Race, the Sack Race and the Mixed Relay.

While there may have been some contentious moments (you know who you are!) it was all in good fun and we all had a great time together. With their Egg & Spoon Champion leading the way, 6CN were also crowned the winners of the Sixth Form Sports Day!

We hope all of our students have a wonderful summer holiday and look forward to welcoming them back as Year 13 in September, along with our new Year 12 cohort.

A huge thank you to our first guest, Chloe Gregory, who gave students an insight into what life was like working as a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker during her time employed at a prison.

Chloe was also able to answer questions students had and provide information on next steps after Year 11, what it takes to enter the field of Psychology and specifically discuss her degree and career.

For anyone into Lego, coding or building robotics this is the place to be.

Our students enjoyed Stafford College's Lego studio, designing and building a vehicle which they programmed to complete various challenges, ending with a Robot Wars style battle.

The facility was a great space which offers engaging sessions for learners of all ages giving them a chance to explore STEM learning through LEGOยฎ Education. With hands-on, play-based learning, our students not only developed new skills but also came away planning another session.
