Our Colour Run was an absolute blast from start to finish! There were smiles, laughter, plenty of running… and by the end, everyone was every colour imaginable!

A special mention has to go to Mr Brookes, who took his role very seriously by unleashing the colour fire extinguisher and making sure nobody escaped without an extra splash of colour!

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible PTFA for organising such a fantastic event. Your hard work, enthusiasm and support make experiences like this possible for our children, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

Finally, well done to all of our amazing pupils for throwing themselves into the fun (literally!) and to all the families who came along to cheer them on and support the event.

We hope everyone has managed to wash most of the colour off… eventually!

💚💛 Reception 💛💚

This week the children have been reflecting on their time in Reception, all the memories we have made and the fun we’ve shared together. We have spent some time discussing our favourite area of the classroom to learn and what we have enjoyed the most from our year in the learning environment.

Can we take a moment to congratulate the children, their independent writing is phenomenal! Remembering to use capital letters, finger spaces and full stops whilst writing with great fluency! 👏🏼🙊

You have impressed Miss Law, Mrs Ellis and Mrs Durber so much over the year Reception, words don’t describe the joy we have to see you all shine 💛✨

As the children spend a few days with their new teachers and more uniform begin, we know lots of families are already starting to get organised for the next academic year.

Please remember to clearly label all items of your child’s uniform. School have had an overwhelming amount of unnamed lost property this year, which often means parents having to buy replacement items unnecessarily.

This week, we are incredibly proud to celebrate all of Year 4 as our Star Learners! 🎉👏

What an amazing year they have had! Throughout the year, they have demonstrated our ASPIRE values of respect, responsibility, resilience, courage, creativity and compassion. They have worked so hard, grown in confidence, embraced new challenges and truly shown that they are ready to take the exciting next step into Year 5. 🌱📚✨

As they prepare for their transition days tomorrow and Tuesday, we wish them the very best as they begin the next part of their journey at Greenways. We know they will continue to shine, make us proud and achieve wonderful things. 💚⭐
