🌟 What a wonderful day for our EYFS children at Churnet Valley! 🌟

Our youngest learners had a fantastic visit full of excitement, discovery and smiles as they explored the railway together. A very special highlight was a visit from the train guard, who helped make the day even more memorable 🚂

Mrs Perkins is looking forwards to joining our Year 6 children at the St Thomas More Open Evening for prospective Year 7 students. All our children are guaranteed a place at St Thomas More Catholic Academy when selected as the ‘1st choice’ secondary school on application.

We can't wait to welcome families to St Thomas More Catholic Academy who's children are due to start year 7 in September 2027.

Our Prospective Parents Evening is this Thursday 17th September 2026 starting from 5.00pm. There is no need to book, due to increasing demand there are two separate Headteacher talks and tours, one at 5.15pm and one at 6.15pm.

Come and meet our staff & students, explore our facilities and discover why St Thomas More Catholic Academy is oversubscribed.​

Join us this Friday at 2:00 pm for a special afternoon of community stalls and activities in loving memory of William. All proceeds will support a Catholic outreach charity that was incredibly close to his heart. We warmly invite children and families to join the fun by taking part in our Colour Run—sponsorship donations can be made directly to ARBOR. We hope to see you there!

🎉 Well done to our Year Six representatives who joined InHarmony this evening to perform with Foden’s Band and many of Staffordshire’s brass bands! Your hard work and dedication truly shone through, and we are incredibly proud of your achievements! 🌟
