St Anne's C.E. Primary School, Brown Edge

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week, Environmental Health visited the school to review our school meals provision. I am delighted to congratulate Laura Rudge and Sarah Jamieson, who achieved a rating of 5—the highest possible standard.

We were also pleased to welcome Cllr Joe Porter, who presented the winners of the well-dressing competition. A huge congratulations to Eleanor (Year 5) for winning the competition, and to Isaac (Year 2) and Oliver (Year 5) for their excellent runner-up entries. During his visit, Cllr Porter also announced the new St Anne’s Church Queen, with Queen Theadora set to take over from Queen Evie this summer. We wish Theadora every success in her new role and thank Evie for her service.

As we begin one of the busiest terms of the year, there are many trips, events and activities planned. Please keep an eye on Class Dojo, this newsletter and your emails for the latest updates. Where possible, we kindly ask that you respond promptly to any consent requests to support us in organising these events effectively.

Y4 have asked me to let you know that they are holding a Penalty Sheet Out next Friday, 12th June. Please support them and help them raise monies for their chosen charity.

From Queen Evie to Queen Theadora... the new St Anne's Church Queen has been announced. Cllr Joe Porter has been into school this afternoon to make the announcement!

Also, he has presented awards for the well-dressing competition. In 3rd place was Oliver, 2nd Isaac and the winner whose design will be created- Eleanor! Well done to everyone who took part.
