So excited to be starting a new Commercial class from 5th March ! 🤩

Commercial dance is all about confidence, energy, and expression; it’s the style you see in music videos, concerts, and on screen.
This class is designed to be fun, welcoming, and pressure-free, no matter your experience level.

We’ll switch up routines every two weeks and explore styles like commercial, hip hop, heels, voguing, and house, with choreography tailored to help you grow and enjoy every class. 💃🏼

Merry Christmas everyone!

I didn’t manage to get pictures with every class, but I had such a good time in all my classes this last week. Everyone brought amazing energy and made me a appreciate how lucky I am to be a dance teacher 💖.

I am definitely ready for a break, but I also can’t wait to get back into the studio in the new year and continue creating and building skills 🤩.

I am now officially a qualified Acro teacher with ! 🤸🏼‍♀️✨

My Acro classes at .stone have quickly become some of my favourites to teach. Before completing my qualification, Acro honestly felt a little daunting, even as a qualified dance teacher. Now, I walk into every class with confidence, and I leave each session so proud of the incredible progress my students are making.

Proper technique and safe spotting are absolutely essential in Acro. Without the right knowledge, students can be taught skills they’re not ready for, which can be unsafe and actually slow down their development. Getting the foundations right makes all the difference.

Module One with has given me invaluable training, and I’d highly recommend it to any dance teacher who isn’t yet qualified in Acro. It’s such a popular style right now, and as teachers, it’s our responsibility to ensure our dancers are learning safely, correctly, and with the best guidance possible. Having a qualified Acro teacher in the room is the only way to guarantee that. 🤸🏼‍♀️💛

Evolve 💖

This weekend was the show, Evolve. TPS has been my dance family since I was 7 years old, and now at 21 I am so proud to not only choreograph for the show and teach at the school, but to still perform at the show myself! As teachers, we always prioritise our students technique and performance opportunities, so I am always grateful to Amanda for letting me and my best friend perform our yearly duet 🖤.

My Stage Stars pulled off an amazing performance in our piece “Stage Stars does Legally Blonde”. For most of them, it was their first time singing on stage, and I am so proud of them all for their characterisation and commitment 💖

My primary tappers put on the ritz to Judy Garland 🤩

And my senior dancers made me so so proud in their Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Pointe pieces.

I am always so proud to be a part of TPS, but after show time I feel it even more. Congratulations to for putting on an amazing show and thank you for letting me be a part of creating it! 💖

She’s qualified!

After studying on the TQ level 4 and 5 course, I am finally a fully qualified dance teacher!

Why is being a qualified dance teacher important? It doesn’t just take a great dancer to teach students and to help them achieve their goals, it takes a dancer who has the knowledge and experience to identify individual learning needs and support them, and that is what my education with the BBO and my first two years of experience has given me. 💃🏼

It took a lot of hard work and perseverance to get to this point, but it’s now paid off 💖 thank you to and for helping my through my qualification and giving me the support I needed to get through!
