The Easter half term is almost here! If you're looking for some activities, why not try some from our activity sheet?

Have a lovely couple of weeks off everyone 🌟

We're excited to be attending this years Invertebrate Science Fair being hosted at Ormiston Meridian Academy on Saturday 7th March.

Head to our stall to collect a worksheet when you arrive and then collect stamps once you've completed the activities! Children who are part of the Children's University will be able to collect a stamp code to collect their learning hours once they've completed the worksheet.

The list of Staffordshire University's Children's University activities has been finalised! A great selection of interaction for you children to take part in. Loads of other activities at SISF as usual as well.

Passport activity sheets will be available on the day from Lauren at the CU stall, next to the reception desk.

Day 4's activity is an online science session all about the oceans 🏝️ Grab some household objects, watch the session and do some hands on learning!

Our second activity for the week is about finding a story trail near you 📚

Have a look at the different Forestry England trails - our closest one is Cannock Chase - and complete the Room on the Broom activity. Send a photo to [email protected] to collect your learning stamp. Enjoy learning in the great outdoors 🌲🌳!

Did you know we are proud partners of Staffordshire University's Children's University ? 🎓

Through this inspiring initiative, young people from participating schools can access a unique code that adds to their own Learning Passport. Every learning activity they complete contributes towards a special graduation celebration – complete with cap and gown!

The Children’s University programme empowers young people to take control of their own learning, builds confidence, and celebrates their achievements beyond the classroom. We’re incredibly proud to support an initiative that recognises curiosity, commitment and personal growth.

Together, we’re helping children believe in their potential and achieve amazing things.

February Half Term is here already! We hope you've had a wonderful first term back.

This year it's the National Year of Reading 2026 and all of our half term activities aim to encourage that love of reading, including taking part in one of the National Literacy Trust in Stoke-on-Trent Story Quests!

We've had a great couple of weeks here at Staffordshire Children's University! Y6 at St Peter’s Catholic Academy took part in two workshops where they built lego universities and discovered more about different courses and careers. They asked some great questions and learnt a lot. Thank you for having us 🤩

This week we've launched CU in St Wilfrid's Catholic Academy and are excited to see how many learning hours their children will achieve before Summer - welcome! 🌟
