First day of year 6 Sats over. Good luck to all my students for tomorrow's reading paper and maths papers on Wednesday and Thursday.

Remember that these tests DO NOT define who you are! You are all amazing in so many ways and have talents that these tests do not measure. Embrace your own uniqueness and shine brightly 🌟

It's been a busy week this week even though it's been the Easter holidays 🐣🐇

Our year 6 pupils have been in school each day for extra practice towards their end of year tests and I've had the opportunity to teach some new children on a 1:1 basis.

I just wanted to say a huge well done to all the children who have worked hard over the Easter holidays. Your dedication will pay off and you will get the results you deserve 🥇

Now this is a genius idea! Teaching children how maths links to the real world is crucial. How much would a child get from seeing this each day? 😀

Super proud of our year 6 pupils. They have given up some of their holiday time this week to come into school for extra booster sessions before they take their SATs in three weeks 👊 Absolute troopers!
