is off to a flying start this year. She started a year ago and really spent last year laying the foundations. Knowing that she wouldn’t be perfect and in her own words sometimes “flaky”. She’s kept showing up and is realising it’s the long term consistency that compounds mega results! 🤩 This year is about putting everything she’s learned into place and it not feeling like a constant effort because the habits are in place! Just in time for the wedding this September 😍😍

🏃♀️ Worst sporting performance of my life😭 Would usually have been absolutely gutted but did everything right in the program and run up. Got the time I wanted in the sim but just didn’t happen on the day. Nevermind🫠 Excited to get back into some Olympic lifting and skills

I’m sharing this because I know I’m someone who always looks like I’ve got my s**t together. I know I’m certainly not alone in any of those situations and that people deal with worse. Working from home can seem like a nice idea until you’ve not seen anyone all week. Life events come out of nowhere and slap you in the face.
Training can certainly seem like a chore when life and work is stressful but I always find it offers me a place to socialise or have time alone, switch off, listen to good music or a podcast, challenge myself and move my body.
There are definitely important times to switch off and have that down time but sometimes it can leave you in a slump if you’re not doing anything. You’ve got to do what’s right for you and we’re all just trying to figure it out along the way🧠

Great fun yesterday☺️
Big shoutout to Jade who hadn’t ran over 2.5km until yesterday! Managed to complete the 5km with 14 inflatable obstacles😂 in 45 minutes👏🏻👏🏻
This was a big reminder of what exercise and events are for…pushing out of your comfort zone, connection and having fun!🤩
