The Journalism students take their remote newsdays one step further with international presenters. Zenith Vaghasiya in India and Ray Lannon in Ireland worked with our students across the UK to create two radio bulletins throughout the day. News stops for no one 💪🏻

A few of our students are carefully enjoying their last Newsday in our newsroom this year. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, our students will continue doing their Newsdays from home. News never slows and the show must go on
Our journos were visited by another talented professional this week.
Phil Bowers from Radio Stoke visited our news room to talk about PR, radio and match commentaries, aswell as sharing tips on how ot promote yourself to professionals.
Today our student journalists were visited by Jonathan Northcroft, football correspondent for The Times Sport, and Matt Lawton, Chief sports correspondent for The Times Sport, as they discussed sourcing stories and what our students can do to make themselves employable.
