A quick reminder ahead of tomorrow’s Long Newton Family Fun Day Football Competition. Please remember to bring along suitable trainers, shin pads and a bottle of water for a well-earned ‘hydration break’ during the games.
Good luck to everyone taking part. Have fun and enjoy the day! ⚽️

A huge well done the ‘Squad of ‘26’ who entered the Wilf Mannion Cup! The children represented the school wonderfully and a great time was had by all.

Introducing the St. Mary’s Girls Y5/6 football team who will be playing in the prestigious Wilf Mannion Cup. In a heart warming move, some girls who don’t normally play football have volunteered to be in the team so that St. Mary’s is able to enter. Those girls in particular have demonstrated what kind and thoughtful children we have in our school! Mr. Smith and Ms. Heaney are so very proud of them!
