This week Year 2 have been learning about stability in DT. They worked hard to design a swing with braces, bases and anchors and also learned how to make flanges.

Odd Socks Day 2025. Celebrating individuality and raising awareness about bullying.

Year 2 have been learning about debating. They have listened to the story of The three little wolves and the big bad pig and have thought about whether the wolves should forgive the pig. The children thought about reasons to forgive or why they should not forgive and debated what they should do. They listened respectfully to their partner and gave their arguments well. Do you think the big bad pig should be forgiven? Why not ask your child for their opinion.

Year 2 have had a fabulous week learning about different careers in hospitality, retail and catering. They enjoyed being a chef, designing a hotel, role play shopping and designing clothes for a shop.

Nursery have had a great start to the week making pumpkin potions, improving our fine motor skills using tweezers and printing pumpkins 🎃
