One of the things that has become so clear to me since I stopped drinking, and through all of the clients that I have worked with, is that stopping drinking isn’t enough - we have to change more than is in our glass.
This was a huge learning for me when I first got sober - I started doing things that I never would have done, and it made my sobriety feel worthwhile, like I hadn’t “given something up” but that I had gained lots of absolutely gorgeous things instead.
This is such a big part of the work I do with my clients, not just looking at how to not drink or how to drink less, but how to make a life so full of things that make us feel good, that we don’t feel that pull to drink.
With this, and with my background in events, I have started putting some experiences on that reflect all that I have learned. Prioritising joy, stepping outside of our comfort zone, making time for play and putting us at the top of our own to-do list.
Dancing and music has been something that has been like medicine to me - so I decided to bring my love of music, movement, joy and connection together and create something magical.
In the 5th September, I’m hosting my first morning rave in Cheadle Hulme. I chose the venue because it has beautiful outside space and the room we are using has bifold doors, so we can dance outside if we want too 🌳 Adding nature in felt particularly special to me.
It’s 45 minutes of music and dancing. Here are the details if anyone would like to come 💖

One of the reasons I'm so passionate about running my Alcohol-Free September programme is because taking part in a similar programme back in 2019 completely changed the way I understood my relationship with alcohol.
When I signed up, I simply wanted some help to get a few alcohol-free days under my belt. I stayed alcohol-free for the whole programme and for a couple of weeks afterwards before I had another drink.
I didn't stop drinking completely after that. It took me a while to work out that, for me personally, living alcohol-free was the right choice. But what that month gave me was something I'd never had before: clarity. It helped me understand the difference between how I felt when I was drinking and how I felt when I wasn't, and that clarity was exactly what I needed.
That's why I created this programme. It's an opportunity to take an intentional break from alcohol with support, guidance, accountability, education and a deeper understanding of the science and psychology behind alcohol. Throughout the month, I'll use coaching tools and evidence-based strategies to help you reassess your own relationship with alcohol, so you can decide what role you want it to play in your life.
Sometimes one month is all it takes to gain the clarity you need.
If it feels like the right time to take a break from the booze, I'd love you to join us. You can find out more and book your place here
