Here are our brilliant Step Up Tutors, tutoring across 8 subjects (more to come)! All our tutors are DBS checked and individually vetted to provide safe, fun and engaging sessions.
Sessions with each of our tutors are limited, and at £24/hour for face to face private tuition and £20/hour for onlineprivate tuition, spots will go fast!

👋 Hi, I’m Sam, the founding managing director at Step Up Tutoring and I would love to let you know a little about who we are.

📚 Step Up Tutoring is a personalised tutoring service provided by A/A* achieving students in a specialist subject. We are a vibrant team of current A levels students with the desire to provide affordable, engaging sessions for GCSE students sharpened by recent exam knowledge, experience and fun revision methods.

🌍 We are people-centred and believe that creating a relaxed yet focussed tutoring session is essential to create a strong learning environment. The relatability of our team members helps ensure Step Up students don’t worry about getting answers wrong so we can focus on their growth. When students feel comfortable and can be honest, we can see which areas they need help to improve. We focus on developing both competence and confidence across the syllabus, individually tailored to the strengths and needs of each student.

🖥️ We don’t believe tutoring should be limited at all, so we aim to make it affordable and adaptable to your needs. With tutoring from as little as £13/hour we make sure there is something for every student. We provide a range of services including 1-to-1 tutoring, group sessions, and online classes, some of which can be face to face and all of them can be online, with a digitally competent team that are able to help guide you through how to set that up.

✅ As the safety of our students is of upmost importance, everyone in our team is DBS checked and provided with regular safeguarding training.
