Earlier this month we held our annual Davenport Awards Night. This evening was a perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and recognise the outstanding dedication, passion, and heart shown by our team each and every day.

These awards recognise individuals who go above and beyond every single day, live and breathe our values, and make a true difference to our children, families and team. These awards are voted for my our team and are a fantastic opportunity to truly celebrate each other. Our parent hero award is voted for by our wonderful families.

This year's award winners are:

Team Member of the Year - Sophie Mallal
Rising Star of the Year - Cadence Blair
Room of the Year - Toddlers
Unsung Hero of the Year - Eniko Jenkins
Parent Hero of the Year - Esther McIntyre
Educator of the Year - Holly Scrivner and Esther McIntyre
At Davenport, the amazing care and education we deliver simply would not be possible without our team. Every day, they show commitment, kindness, professionalism, and an unwavering dedication to giving our children the very best Early Years experience.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our families for their continued trust, support, and partnership. Working together allows us to create the nurturing, inclusive, community and high-quality experiences that our children deserve.

Well done, Team Davenport - we are so proud of you!

🎄✨ Festive Adventures for Our Prep School Children! ✨🎄

What a magical morning we had! Our Prep School children wrapped up warm and took the bus, full of excitement for our festive trip to the cinema. The bus journey itself was an adventure, the children spent the entire time looking out of the windows, spotting lorries, vans and Christmas lights.🌟🚌

At the cinema, the children were completely engrossed by Stickman. There were lots of smiles and laughs all around.❤️

🌟 Bake Sale Success! 🌟
We are absolutely thrilled to share that our little community has raised an amazing £281 at our bake sale in support of Macmillan Cancer Support 💚

This charity is very close to our hearts, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who rolled up their sleeves, baked with love, and came along to support the cause.

A huge thank you to our wonderful families, staff, and friends for your generosity and your endless support. 💚✨

Here’s to community, cakes, and caring.

Thank you all so much! 🍰💚

'They shall grow not old,
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning,
We will remember them'

🌿 Mud Kitchen Magic 🌿
This week our Prep children have been bringing the freshest ingredients to their play – straight from our very own allotment area!
With handfuls of home-grown spinach and rocket, the mud kitchen was transformed into a place of creativity, imagination, and discovery. The children mixed, stirred, and “cooked” with such pride, knowing these leaves had been planted, cared for, and picked by their very own hands.
At Nina's Nursery Davenport, we’re passionate about using our own resources wherever we can. Growing together teaches so much more than gardening – it nurtures independence, teamwork, and a love for the world around us.
And most importantly… it brings pure joy!
