🌱 Student Parliament in Action!

Our Student Parliament enjoyed planting at Disley Train Station last week. The children worked brilliantly together to help brighten up the local area and make a positive contribution to our community.

A big thank you to the volunteers for organising such a fantastic opportunity! 🌼

Well done to our Year 3/4 girls’ football team! ⚽🏆

They were unstoppable, winning every match and proudly bringing the trophy home to Disley. They showed brilliant teamwork, impressive skill and, most importantly, had a fantastic time throughout the tournament.

Before the holidays, our year 6 children did a fantastic job raising money for their end of year trip.

Author visit! 📚✨

We were delighted to welcome author David Solomons to Disley Primary School, organised by Simply Books. KS2 pupils loved hearing about his new book The Ministry of Manners and came away feeling inspired, excited and ready to read!

🌟 Well done, Year 6! 🌟

This week, our amazing Year 6 children have shown incredible determination, resilience and hard work as they completed their SATs assessments. We could not be prouder of the effort, focus and positive attitude they have shown throughout the week!

To celebrate all their hard work, we finished the week with a well-deserved treat - pizza and a swimming pool party! 🍕🏊‍♂️

It was wonderful to see everyone relaxing, smiling and enjoying time together after such a busy week. You have all earned it!

Swimming lessons at Disley! 🏊‍♂️

This term, our Year 3, 4 and 5 children have been taking part in swimming lessons at school! They are really enjoying the lessons, and we have been incredibly impressed with their resilience, determination and growing confidence in the water.

Year 4 Residential - Condover Hall! 🌳
Our Year 4 children have been on their residential to Condover Hall. They engaged in a range of adventurous activities and had a fabulous time! 🧗‍♀️

Thank you to the staff who supervised the visit and made this fantastic opportunity possible. We’re sure it’s been full of memories that will last a lifetime😊

Football News!
On Tuesday our Year 6 girls football team played a friendly away at St Paul's to end their season. The girls played some fantastic attacking football, scoring lots of goals and keeping a clean sheet in a big win. Well done girls! 🔵⚽️

Reception trip to Chatsworth Farm!🐄🚜

Last week, our Reception children attended a school trip to Chatsworth Farm. They had a fantastic time and learnt about a range of animals that live on a farm!🐑🐖🐓

The children set a fantastic example and we are very proud of them all.
