Our budding scientist in 5CS carried out an experiment today investigating which factors affect the time taken for a substance to dissolve. The children tested sugar in water at different temperatures to find out whether temperature made a difference.

After carefully observing and recording the results, they discovered that sugar dissolved much more quickly in hot water than in cold water! 🌡️💧

The children showed excellent scientific skills by carrying out a fair test, and analysing their findings. Well done, 5CS!

Our Reception children have been busy learning through play this morning.

The children enjoyed making delicious drinks at our Barista Bar, serving customers at the Pumpkin Café, and taking orders at the Drive-Thru

These activities help develop a wide range of important skills including communication and language, taking turns, imaginative play, listening, problem-solving, counting, and building confidence when interacting with others. We are so proud of how they worked together, shared ideas, and used their creativity throughout their play!
