Another fntastic turn out this morning at Stay and Read club.
Thank you for your continued support.
What a fantastic first week back in Fox class.
The children have loved learning all about the seaside. They have opened the beach shop, pretended to build sandcastles and jump in the sea. The class have learnt new vocabulary: cliff, coastline and pier.
The children have talked about treasures that can be found in the sea such as sea glass, and they have sketched and painted a coastline and produced some amazing transient art.
We think they will need a big rest this weekend!

Year 5 went on a local visit to the library this week where they learnt how how non-fiction books are categorized, located, and researched using the duey number system.

What an amazing time our Year 6 children have had! From getting muddy during outdoor challenges to gathering around the campfire toasting marshmallows.
The children have taken part in every activity presented to them, building confidence, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Year 6 didn't let the wet weather dampen their spirits yesterday. They had a great time out and about by the lake and in the air!
This morning they woke to sunshine and have a busy morning of activities to get stuck in to!

Fox class have had a super start to the day today. They have really enjoyed their first golf session with Professional Golfer, Dave Myers.
Dave said that he was amazed how good the children were!
The children can't wait for their next lesson, and fingers crossedwill be able to learn outside! ⛳️🏌️♀️

Year 6 have had an amazing first day in beautiful Lakeside. From exciting outdoor activities to team-building challenges, they’ve been full of energy, smiles, and enthusiasm. The weather stayed dry (most of the time) and they have had lots of muddy and wet fun on the water and in the forest.

Early Years were so excited when they returned to school following the half term break to find that a robin has made a nest and laid some eggs in our Nursery shed!
We have bought some food for the robin and will be caring for them from afar over the next few weeks.
We can't wait to see the baby robins when they hatch!
