🌼 Free Family Meetup – St Mary’s Flower Park, Prestwich
I am so happy to invite you to a free, relaxed family gathering on 20th June at St Mary’s Flower Park.
I thought as I'll be moving to the area soon, I wanted to start building a community here in Prestwich.
This is a space for neurodivergent children, parents, and carers to come together, meet others locally, and just spend time in a way that feels comfortable.
✨ What to expect:
Crafts for kids
Snacks & resources
A welcoming, informal space to connect
Time to chat with me and other local families
Stay for as long (or as little) as works for you
📍 Look for the picnic blankets and the Rise with Katie logo - that’s where you’ll find us.
No booking needed. Just come as you are.
Because community doesn’t have to be complicated 💛

🌿 Prestwich Clough Family Day – Sunday 17th May
I will be heading outside for a relaxed, no-pressure community day at Prestwich Clough and I'd love to meet as many of you as I can!
Look out for the Rise with Katie banner and get to know me, my services with both families and adults, upcoming events and just get a chance to connect with other neurodivergent families in a space where everyone is welcome exactly as they are.
There will be information to take away, colouring, the chance to buy my book 'The Girl Who Always Could' and a chance to win a session with me!
Can't wait to see you there!

💛 Understanding Autism, ADHD & AuDHD Workshop - THIS AFTERNOON 💛 4pm till 6pm online!
Autism and ADHD don’t just sit side by side, they interact in really unique ways that can shape how someone thinks, feels, communicates, and moves through the world.
This upcoming workshop from Autism - A Hands On Approach, explores exactly that..
🌈 what AuDHD looks like in real life
🌞 how it can be misunderstood
🌟 and how we can better support both children and adults with this combined neurotype.
I will be sharing insight from my own lived experience as a late-diagnosed AuDHD adult, alongside my mum, Sally Trowse, who will be discussing the traits of ADHD, Austism and AuDHD based on her professional work with CAMHS.
If you’ve ever felt like “standard” autism or ADHD explanations don’t quite fit what you’re seeing at home or in practice, this one is for you.
There's still time to grab a ticket for £20. If you are interested, head to my events page over on my website! Link in bio.
