🧪Science for little and big ones??🧪

Science isn’t just for grown-ups; it starts from birth. Children are natural scientists who explore the world through their senses. Simple learning opportunities like colour mixing with paint or water play provide opportunities for curiosity and to build essential early skills such as
🧪encouraging curiosity and early problem-solving skills
🧪Strengthen fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
🧪Supports cognitive growth and the understanding of concepts such as cause and effect
🧪Boosts creativity and confidence in experimenting
Through every splash, swirl and mix with the tools our children are taking another step in their science journey!
What a lovely way to enjoy British Science Week.

Making paint with chalk to celebrate Holi 🎨

We learnt about the festival of Holi through making our own powdered paint. Holi is significant because it is the festival of colours, love and spring. During the festival, those who celebrate will throw coloured powder paint at each other for fun. This is why we made our own paint with chalk. We used a grater to make the chalk into a fine powder then added water to make it into paint. We combined the colours and watched as they blended into each other.
