After 20 years as Headteacher Jo O'Raw is retiring next Summer. As a result the Local Authority are consulting on the future of our Nursery School.

***What a wonderful year !***
Looking back on the last school year we are so happy to see everything the children have learnt. We are so proud to be an inclusive, anti- racist nursery who is welcoming to all. We wish our leavers lots of love and luck as they move on. We are excited to welcome back our returners and meet our new children and families.

***How to be a friend***
It is not easy being 2, 3 or 4 years old. You are starting to learn about other people and that they might have a different point of view to you. You are starting to learn to listen to others and to be assertive if there is something you do not like. You are starting to learn to take turns and share. You are seeing that others might like the same things as you do and that it is great to do those things together. Eventually you start to play with them but then you might fall out and make up again. It takes time to make a friend.
At Nursery we help children learn about themselves and others and help them on the journey to start to make friendships.

***Chicks***
The children have loved watching chicks hatch out of their eggs this week. What an amazing way to see a life cycle happen before your eyes ! Thank you to for bringing us the full kit so we can look after them for a couple of weeks. It has been lovely to share this experience with the families too who have popped in at drop off and collection time to see if any more have come out.

***Football skills***

The children loved trying out new skills and scoring goals.
