We're a group of students in Stirling who are campaigning against the commercialisation of higher education.
All students are welcome as all students are subject to unfair treatment from university managements prioritising finances over its students.

The university gave students less than a month to find alternative accommodation!
The options given in the email consist of keeping students names on their waiting list, receiving one of the limited part time accommodations, or following the links to private letting agents.
This is unfair treatment of students. For most of them this will be their first time living away from home.

It was fantastic to see everyone at the virtual protest today, so many impassioned people standing up for what they believe in, and refusing to be oppressed by sub-par, overpriced education!
But the fight isn't over, for all who turned up, there are more who for whatever reason did not, their passion still strong, but their timing a little off, so there is still much to do.
How you can help directly:
1. Tell a friend, a fee paying student who feels your pain, but doesn't yet know anything can be done, it's through word of mouth that we can effectively spread.
2. Share this page, it may seem trivial, but showing that this movement has legs further afield is a key way to get the attention of the people in power and maybe even stimulate change.
3. Make a sign! One of the simplest things you can do right now is put 9K 4 WHAT on your window, it'll be seen by many people outside of your circle, who may currently be unreachable, extra points for creativity too! We've already seen many great ones, but you can use marker pens, post-it-notes, Newspaper clippings or anything you choose to voice your discontent, and when you're done, just take a photo, and stick it in the comments, the best looking ones may even be used in promotional material!
4. Keep the faith! Just because it may seem like you're not making a difference, doesn't mean no one is listening, it's only through persistence of you fab activists out there that we can make the change we want to see! Nothing will get those in power more riled up than the students showing their spirits aren't broken, so keep on fighting the good fight!
