I was feeling stuck, could I let go.....
I was feeling particularly sticky like something wasn’t quite sitting right,
Like something was preventing me from moving forward, almost as if gravity was pulling me down.
I was sitting with a friend when they asked what was up, so I told them I was feeling stuck….
…they laughed, almost shrieked, with a big grin on their face,
"Oh Tash" they said, slapping their hands on the top of their thighs, "That's so exciting!"
Cue, tilted head, and a completely baffled look on my face...
Perhaps they didn’t hear what I said…
They said it sounded like I was holding onto the reins and asked why I wouldn't let go…..
I couldn't answer that,
"Big things are about to happen," they said, and were excited to see what happens when I let them go….
I left feeling puzzled, yet curious…
Because I felt stuck, I labelled it as bad,
I'd never even thought of it as anything else, certainly not as exciting...
But now I was curious, which is kind of exciting,
And kept thinking, 'something big is around the corner!?
Have you ever felt like this, do you feel like you're holding on to the reins?
If so I invite you to be curious and seek why that might be.
In my Free Facebook Group, we’ve been talking about why these feelings may arise and how to prepare for them and move through them.

Celebrating my 40s, wrinkles and inevitable change as a woman!✨
Yes, 40 it’s a big one, they say, and the pressure to do something big for it had been on my mind for a while,
There's sooooo much pressure from society,
And the adverts popping up in my feed were shocking!
Bucket lists, 40 things you should do by the time you’re 40,
Followed by 40 things you shouldn't do after 40,
Things you should or shouldn't wear (which is anything we dam want to by the way)
Then there's the real scaremongering;
How our metabolism is doomed (erm…)
The 'dreaded Menopause' (Seriously???)
Heart disease, lowering estrogen levels, muscle and bone loss (many potential factors here!)
Not to mention the wrinkles, sagging skin and overloaded stress,
Let's face it, which has just accelerated from reading these articles.
Now, luckily I know that these are misleading from my recent evidence-based studies,
But it makes my blood boil that information like this is out there,
Taking advantage of our insecurities and vulnerabilities,
Making us feel like we're not good enough like we should (not a fan of that word either) behave, look and do particular things at a specific time of our lives,
As if we don’t have enough going on.
So I thought about what was really important to me,
How did I actually want to spend my 40th Birthday?
Not on a tropical Island,
And not leaping out of an aeroplane,
Or doing anything adrenaline-fueled, to be honest...
✨What I truly wanted was to be with my family.
And that's what we did,
We saw both our families during our visit down south,
And my gourmet birthday meal was pizza in my Brothers garden,
It was simple, fun and full of love.
✨So now I'm 40, I still feel the same, but I'm aware of the natural and inevitable changes that will be heading my way as a woman,
And I'm going to be embracing, educating and sharing the wonderful world of women's health and how we can all live a confident, happy and healthy life we love,

My client as she reached her goal 🎉
I'm super proud of her, she's transforming her mindset,
By becoming more aware of what she actually wants,
She's making choices to support her goals and her health,
And changing her relationship with food,
So she can spend more quality time and energy with her family.
✨ All while running her own business from home,
✨ Juggling school and nursery pick-up and drop-off,
✨ Managing home life and the family,
✨ And enjoying a vibrant social life with her busy children, husband and friends.
If you'd like to find out more about how this is possible,
