Zoe and Sam hosted a cupcake party for my daughter's 6th birthday party. They handled everything from setting up to washing up, we didn't have to do a thing. The children loved making and decorating cupcakes and were kept busy throughout the 2 hour session. Highly recommend, thank you so much Zoe!

Do you have older children too?

If so, you may be interested in our ACADEMY CLASSES, the next step up from Juniors classes for children aged 11 - 17!

In these classes, we’ll be cooking delicious complete meals that serve at least 2 people (sometimes 4!). For example, one week it might be a tasty macaroni and cheese served with garlic bread, another week homemade fish fingers with veggies… or a sticky cornflake tart with mascarpone cream.

We have 3 years’ worth of Academy recipes, so there’s a huge variety of dishes for your tweens and teens to enjoy cooking and trying out!

I get asked a lot: Can you cater for children with allergies?

The answer is yes – at Cook Stars, we do everything we can to include everyone wherever possible.

We take a number of steps to ensure all children attending our classes are kept safe:

➡️ When you book with us, you'll be asked about any food allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements we need to be aware of.

➡️ If you indicate yes, we’ll send you a separate form to complete. This helps us understand your child’s needs better. We work closely with parents to make our classes inclusive and adapt recipes where possible.

➡️ Our weekly newsletter lets you know the recipes coming up the following week and highlights any allergens. You can discuss any concerns with us at this stage.

➡️ At class, we have a folder listing all recipes along with their allergens – you are welcome to look at this at any time.

➡️ At the end of class, your child receives a recipe card that shows the nutritional information and notes any allergens.

➡️ We maintain close contact with you week to week, so you’re always welcome to discuss any concerns with us.

One of our favourite parts of our classes is seeing the children’s proud faces when they realise what all their hard work has created!

This is one of our most popular party options!

Guests make, bake, and decorate four delicious vanilla cupcakes from scratch. We provide a wonderful selection of sprinkles, toppings, and glitters for decorating, as well as a large range of moulds for your guests to create beautiful sugar-paste decorations. Everyone then takes home their cakes in pretty cake boxes tied with ribbon.

High tea is served to guests – a fine selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, scones, and cakes, served on pretty cake stands, along with hot chocolate topped with cream and marshmallows.

With all our party options, the following is also included:

🧁 Invitations
🧁 A 2-hour party with at least two party leaders
🧁 All ingredients and equipment, including aprons
🧁 All additional party food/catering

Cooking with children may be messy!

In fact, it’s often very messy!

It’s also likely to take much longer than if you were making the same dish yourself.

We’re absolutely fine with both of these facts at Cook Stars!

MESS: We take care of all the clearing up – something parents tell us they love! Not having the mess in your own kitchen is a huge bonus.

TIME: Our classes are perfectly structured to allow plenty of opportunity for children to explore and try out new techniques. We make sure everyone follows the same instruction at the same time, so no one ever gets left behind. We also keep a good pace to prevent boredom – and when the cooking stops, the craft activities come out!

Cooking is such a fun and rewarding experience for children. We love running classes that let children be messy, take their time, and discover just how much enjoyment cooking can bring.
