Look what came out of Wednesday's STEAM session. 🏠
A house; walls, roof, the lot, built entirely from lolly sticks. Along the way: counting, sorting by colour, right angles, symmetry and a lot of problem-solving about why the roof kept sliding off.
That's engineering, and they loved every minute.

Something a bit different at Stanmore. 🔧
Every Wednesday we run STEAM activity sessions; building, puzzling, measuring and making. It's maths, science, engineering and art all in one, and the room is always buzzing.
Children don't just learn the maths here. They use it.
